Countless people across the world strive to live an independent life, away from their families, as soon as they turn 18. While some leave their homes to study in a different city or country, others move out and live separately after getting a job. Those who live with their parents start contributing to household expenses after a certain age.
However, a 75-year-old woman in northern Italy’s Pavia, who lives with her two sons aged 40 and 42, claimed that they contribute nothing to household expenses, do not help her with household chores and play no role in running the household. Yet, they continue to live with her in her house.
Despite repeated requests asking them to move out, the two sons continue to live in the house. The two are also working. So, the woman filed a legal case against them. The woman in question is retired, separated from her husband, and lives on a monthly pension.
According to NDTV, the judge ruled in her favour and ordered the two sons to vacate the house. What’s hilarious is that the woman, on the official court papers, called her sons “parasites” for living in the family house without contributing anything.
Serves the two men right for exploiting their mother in such a disappointing manner!
