People Of Colour Take Online #VogueChallenge, Feature Themselves On Magazine Cover

People all over the world are participating in #VogueChallenge. What is it, you ask? Well, the BLM movement has caused a domino effect forcing people to question the beauty standards set by the fashion industry. In a viral trend online, people of color are now sharing imaginative covers for the eminent fashion magazine Vogue.

The reason behind it? According to several people, popular fashion magazines aren’t inclusive and often don’t feature people of color on their covers. Hence, in order to break the traditional norms, people from the black community started sharing images gracing the cover of Vogue. People even called out prominent publications for the lack of people of color on their covers. 

What started out with just black people taking the challenge, has now received participation from people of color from all around the world. Have a look at all the gorgeous images shared online:
