These Ladies Were The ONLY THREE Passengers On A Flight And We Can’t Be More Envious!

It always feels nice when you get a little extra of something for the same amount. Be it some extra chips inside your packet or extra legroom in your flight, the joy of getting more, makes everyone happy. So how would one feel when they get a completely empty flight and an upgrade from economy class to business class seats? Like the best day ever, right?

Christmas came early for Laura Stevens and her two friends, Sarah and Laurie when they learned that they were the only passengers on a British Airways flight from Gibraltar to London. The three ladies then had the time of their lives as they got upgraded from economy to business class.

The three ladies had booked their seats on a 5:20 pm flight which got delayed by three hours. To avoid waiting at the airport, they arrived late. Only to find out that all the other passengers of the 150 seater plane had left on an earlier flight.

Laura and her friends were served a three-course meal and champagne on the flight. Talk about getting lucky.

Laura, a TV producer then described her once-in-a-lifetime experience in a series of tweets that are getting viral on the internet.

The cabin crew was more than happy to pose for pictures with the lucky girls.

They even had a tour of the cockpit. Best night indeed!

Usually, the airline doesn’t allow people to get into the cockpit of the plane. But when you are riding on a stroke of luck, you can get anywhere.

Even rock stars don’t get such a huge private plane, and that too for just £80 (₹6660)!

Laura also posted a video of her private flight extravaganza

But wait, there’s more. The ladies were allowed access to the executive lounge and when they asked to buy Christmas gifts for their families at the airport, the staff opened their shops for them. Humbled by the gesture, an ecstatic Laura said,

“We felt like celebrities, especially when we were given Champagne – it was the best Christmas present ever, we couldn’t believe how kind and lovely everyone was.”

British Airways definitely made Laura and her friends’ Christmas a memory for their lifetime.
