Here’s Why Thanksgiving At Monica’s Is The Best Damn Thing About F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

It’s Thanksgiving day. And to a F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan it means, it’s a day at Monica’s. Oh, c’mon! That’s a given. But don’t you think Thanksgiving tradition at Monica’s house, is probably the best damn thing about our favie TV show? Here’s why I feel so…

1. She was a great hostess.

Hosting is her thing, in addition to being a OCD-ish about cleaning, winning, and being best at everything. She used to wow all with her delish dishes and what’s Thanksgiving day without some of her cooking drama?

 

2. There were so many revelations:

Every Thanksgiving day on the show was a day full of revelations. We got to know so many things about our beloved characters. Like, why Gellers didn’t like Chandler, Ross was a pothead, Monica accidently cut off Chandler’s right toe, Ross chose Paleontology as his major because he lost a bet, Phoebe admits loving Jacques Costeau, Joey’s family thought he had venereal disease after he was a model for the campaign, Ross was a part of ‘we-hate-Rachel’ club with Will, and so much more.

 

3.There were fights:

Not that I am saying fights are good. But fights on F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Gooooddd…Solely because they’re so hilarious and entertaining. The way they behaved and acted is just too much fun. I can re-watch them over and over, again.

 

4. They always spent it together:

Everytime. Every year. They had each other. Even if late. So, I’ll be there for you holds meaning in its truest form.

 

5. There were imperfectly perfect moments we still heart.

Remember moo-point? Or Joey’s turkey challenge? Or Ross climbing the fire escape? Or Chandler hating dogs but was worried when he couldn’t find Clunkers? Or Rachel’s feet-like pie? Too much fun.

Thanksgiving wouldn’t be Thanksgiving if not at Monica’s. There, I said it.

*grabs a tub of pop-corn* Let the binge begin!
