On one hand, we have celebrities like Farhan Akhtar who celebrate the spirit of womanhood, and on the other hand, we have Telugu actor and Andhra Pradesh’s MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna who pass derogatory remarks.
The MLA drew flak when he ostracised women by making some vulgar remarks at a movie function, where he was promoting his audio for the movie. Apparently, he was pleasing his fans by making this remark.
“If I play eve-teasing roles, and just follow girls, my fans will not accept. Either a kiss should be given or they should be made pregnant. That’s all. We have to commit ourselves.”
A police complaint has been lodged against him for making ‘vulgar’ remarks.
