Imagine this: you are a 16-17-year-old student who developed a crush on somebody but got shut down badly by them. So you decided to stay away from all this luv-shuv ke chakkar and focus solely on your studies. Exams are near and you open YouTube to watch a tutorial on a certain subject you need help with. But then you see something that makes you cry – a love episode between the tutors in the video!
That’s right. Students and viewers of Adda247, a vernacular learning platform, were in for a surprise when a teacher named Navneet Tiwari proposed to another teacher and his colleague Sona Sharma during a session that was aptly titled ‘Biggest Surprise Reveal’.
“I hope for your support in not just my professional life but personal as well. Support me forever. I don’t know what’s wrong or right. I don’t even want to say something like ‘I like you’ or ‘I love you’. I just want to ask you Sona ma’am will you marry me?” said Navneet.
To this, Sona Sharma said, “To be honest, I never thought this moment would be recorded live,” which was followed by a big, fat ‘Yes’.

However, a lot of people online weren’t exactly thrilled as they thought that it was inappropriate for tutors to pull off something like this during a study session as it would invariably distract the students.
