Shahrukh Khan and his son Aryan have been criticized online ever since the latter’s arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau following a raid at a rave party on a cruise ship. 23-year-old Aryan Khan has allegedly been charged for “purchase, possession and use of banned substances”.

Even so, SRK is being widely supported by people in the industry who have spoken in his favor following Aryan’s arrest.

Actor Suniel Shetty urged the media to let Aryan Khan breathe. “I would like to say that wherever there is a raid, several people are caught. And we assume that this child must have consumed drugs or this child must have done it. But the proceedings are on, give that child a chance to breathe.”
Shetty added, “Whenever something happens in Bollywood, the media scrutinises everything and jumps to conclusions. Give the child a chance. Let the truth come out. It is our responsibility to take care of the child.”

Celebrities like Hansal Mehta, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Pooja Bhatt also stood in solidarity with SRK. They tweeted their support for Khan as well as Aryan following the latter’s arrest.
It is painful for a parent having to deal with a child getting into trouble. It gets compounded when people begin to arrive at judgements before the law takes its course. It is disrespectful and unfair to the parent and to the parent-child relationship. With you @iamsrk.
