This year has been particularly hard for teachers with virtual classes becoming the new normal amid the pandemic. People online have been slamming students who tried to troll or objectify teachers for “fun” during these online lectures.
To counter this, many students are surprising their teachers with messages of gratitude to make it a memory they cherish for years to come. A Twitter user explained:
There’s a TikTok of students writing Thank You notes to their professors and holding them up on their Zoom lectures. It is so wholesome and I tear up to every single one of them!! 🥺♥️

A professor is seen starting his virtual class, but being met with blank screens as none of the students have their cameras on. Disappointed at not seeing any of the familiar faces of his students, he asks them whether the class would happen without cameras. But that quickly changed when every student suddenly turned on their cameras to reveal a heartwarming message for the teacher, which moved him to tears. Check it out:

The students can be seen holding up a sign with a message of appreciation for their professor.
In another similar video, a professor logs onto his virtual class, accustomed to teaching blank screens as only 3 of the students usually have their cameras on. But he was left completely surprised when the class coordinated to turn their cameras on at the same moment and greeted him with ‘Thank you’ notes. Needless to say, the overwhelmed teacher’s reaction to this unforgettable moment was priceless.
