They say ‘out of sight, out of mind’. When you stop going to the theatres for as long as we have, owing to the coronavirus pandemic, it is very easy to forget the kind of cinematic experience one has in the movie theatres. And people did forget the excitement, thrill and fulfilment of watching a film in the theatres. Why else would good films like ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ bomb at the box office?
It took Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ to drive people out of their homes and experience again the thrill of watching a mass entertainer in the theatres. And it also kinda showed who the baap of cinema is. 😉

And now, Shahrukh Khan is back again, twice in a single year, with ‘Jawan’ to prove that it is he, and he alone, who can turn a film release into a nationwide festival in India.
