One of the biggest issues the world is facing right now is the threat caused to the environment due to pollution caused by human beings. We have literally used every part of our surrounding as a dump yard and despite several warnings, we continue to behave ignorantly, neglecting the possible consequences.
While humans were sent to this earth with much more physical and mental capability than any other living being, we have acted as the least responsible of the bunch. And a unique signboard at a forest, the picture of which was shared by Anand Mahindra, says exactly that.
The picture shared by the business tycoon highlights a signboard which asks humans to behave like animals in mountains and forests. No, it does not ask you to climb a tree or hunt your prey but requests you to keep away from polluting the place. And that is because, it is the humans who always leave the trash behind!
When angry with my behaviour, my mother used to say “Stop behaving like an animal.” ( Jaanwar ki tarah!) I wish I could tell her today that I was behaving virtuously! 😊 pic.twitter.com/AB87GzBHwy

However, as soon as the post went viral, a Twitter user was quick to highlight that the signboard is at Edakkal Caves, Wayanad.

Entering the area, you have to pay a deposit of ₹100 for a plastic bottle you take in. This amount is only refunded when you get the bottle back from the trip, an ingenious ideas, keeping the place clean.

And the others bombed the post with their valuable comments.

So much to learn from the animal and the bird kingdom.. Birds take care of their kids till they learn to fly.. We cling to our kids till we leave

We have come so far as human beings that we would actually help the planet and help humanity if we did adopt some of the Animal habits.

Ha ha…we have a lot to learn from animals!

Stays true to its subject, humans need to learn to be like them in many ways and this is one of them…

Unfortunately we need to learn few things from Animals.

People in general don’t have the awareness and sensitivity to do the same. Every place is a dumping ground for them. We need to change that mindset.

Its high time we realize the damage we are doing to the environment before its too late. To cut it short, we humans are digging our own graves.
