Cute Siblings Recreate Oscar-Nominated Movie Scenes With Their Mom, Give Them An Award Already!

Can you imagine how dull and drab award shows would be if they didn’t come up with new formats to spice things up a bit? Take, for example, the announcement of Oscar nominations. Rather than showing an AV montage of all the nominees, you have presenters enact bits of the movie, or deliver a monologue about it or even perform it in song! Keeps things interesting doesn’t it?

Well, this one family has found an even more interesting way to make their own little announcement about Oscar-nominated movies every year!

This family recreates iconic movie scenes from Oscar Best Picture Nominees and the results are beyond awesome!

Check out how perfectly they’ve nailed a beautiful scene from this year’s Oscar Best Picture winner, The Shape of Water!

So wait, how did these guys come up with this crazy genius idea? Ah well, credit goes to the Mom, Maggie Storino!

Around seven years ago, Maggie, a mother of three, received a black tutu for her newborn baby girl. Inspiration struck and she clicked a picture of her little angel wearing the tutu and posing à la Oscar-nominated movie, Black Swan.

The picture got an overwhelming response, which prompted Maggie to turn this one-off photo shoot into a full-fledged series every year! And so was born ‘Don’t Call Me Oscar’, her project where Maggie’s three beautiful daughters, Sophia (7), Sadie (5) and Sloane (2) recreate scenes from each year’s Best Picture Academy Award nominees!

The Storinos have managed to create an impressive album of such recreated movie scenes and are hugely popular on the internet. In fact, they’re pretty much one of the cutest things about the Oscar season!

Brace yourselves for an overload of adorableness and amazement because here they come with the Academy Award nominees for 2018!
