We all know how Twitter has become ‘the’ place that churns out jokes and memes every now and then. Well, this time, the joke’s on Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Here’s how.
According to News18, the MLA from Delhi was giving an interview to a journalist, a couple of months ago. Among the various questions, the journalist of The Lallantop posed to Sisodia, was the deteriorating quality of water that was supplied in the city. A former journalist himself, Sisodia responded that people were getting unclean tap water because they have been filling water at the wrong time.
A report From NDTV quoted him saying, “If you switch on the motor at times when there is no water supply, the motor will pull the debris from pipelines. Physics says that the garbage will be pulled if you turn on the motor when there is no water supply.”
Here’s Manish Sisodia’s response on poor water quality:

Twitter was flabbergasted by Sisodia’s response and came up with their own understanding of his logic. After his comment, the meme-makers online are having a field day as #ScientistSisodia started trending online. And trust me, I wasn’t interested in physics until this time:

Brb, going to switch on the motor and check if the water in my city is muddy or not. Meanwhile, you tell me what do you think of his ‘murky’ logic.
