Scarlett Johansson is often counted among the sexiest women in the world. She is not only immensely good looking and talented but is also a loving mother of a two-year-old daughter, Rose. At 2017 amfAR New York gala (held for raising awareness about AIDS), as a guest of honour, Scarlett Johansson had the sweetest date, her mother, Melanie Solan.
She talked about how her mother was a positive influence during her growing up years and how she is facing motherhood herself.
Melanie Solan, Scarlett’s mother, attended the amfAR gala with her and Scarlett had the most amazing things to say about her mom. Apart from being a producer Melanie has also raised Scarlett as a conscious citizen. Praising her mother, Scarlett said…
 “I really couldn’t think of anybody else that I’d rather [have] with me here tonight,[she’s] been incredibly inspiring for me in many, many ways, but certainly as a young girl. She never shielded us from what was going on in the zeitgeist in culture, she always made us aware, you know, socially aware. She always encouraged us to be politically and socially active, so I couldn’t imagine a better date tonight.”
Scarlett Johansson also talked about how being a working mother is a daunting task and how she is trying to bring up baby Rose by not “missing out on those special moments.”
 “I don’t profess to know anything about parenting, anything more than anybody else, [but] being a working mom is an incredible challenge, [and] it’s an incredible gift, I think you always feel a little bit of guilt… If you’re at work, you feel like you’re missing out on those special moments with your kid. If you’re with your kid, you feel like you’re not giving enough to your job. It’s a balance. I have a lot of huge admiration for working moms, I’m barely, barely holding it together.”
Motherhood sure is the most beautiful yet the most difficult job in the world but we are sure Scarlett would do it just as good as she does everything else!
