Rumours of Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge were brewing for quite some time and everybody was excited to know whether they are dating or not as they continued to tease fans by appearing together like when they came looking like a million bucks to Yuvi Paaji’s wedding.
Finally, they decided to break the news of their engagement and you best be sure, everybody went crazy over the news. Zaheer proved himself to be quite the romantic as Sagarika disclosed how he proposed to her.

As reported by India.com, both of them talked all about how they went from a cordial ‘Hi’, ‘Hello’ to being life partners and it is just like a Bollywood movie. The couple was teased by their friends whenever they met. Sagarika further revealed,
“It was weird that every time I met him, my friends would tease us for some reason. We would be cordial with each other and stick to the regular `Hi’ and `Hello’. But there were people, like my close friend, who thought we should be together even before we thought about it.”
Well, looks like both of them have great friends who saw the connection between them even before they could be aware of it themselves. But someone had to take the lead and it was our very own pace bowler Zaheer Khan.
Zaheer gathered the courage to ask his lady love out on a dinner date without the rest of the gang so that they could get to know each other a little more.
He further talked about how he asked her out and said,
“Things started to get serious when I actually told her about it. Before that we would always meet as part of a group. We would enjoy each other’s company , but I wasn’t sure if she liked me or not.”
“So I just told her, “I would like to take you out for dinner, but it should be just you and me, not with the gang.”
We sure are glad Zaheer acted on time and both of them acknowledged their connection otherwise, who would we ship? The couple is set to get married soon and listening to their fairy-tale love story, we are feeling all mushy inside.
