The film’s titles spells romance and such lovely promise and one look at the trailer, we were hooked. Starring Alex Roe and Jessica Rothe, the film brings Southern (American) music back in vogue.

Oh, don’t eye-roll there. It is romantic, ok, tho agreed in its own twisted BDSM way. Ana loves Christian, Christian loves Ana and they live happily ever after. So, yeah this Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson one counts as a romantic movie to me.

They do it to see if they are ready to settle down or not. The Beast aka Dan Stevens and Rebecca Hall film looks like a refreshing take on modern-day relationships.

6. Midnight Sun

Starring Bella Thorne and Patrick Schwarzenegger, the tale of a girl suffering from a rare pigmentation disorder that hinders her from stepping in the sun. She sleeps during the day and steps out only after sun-down. But, how does that stop two souls from falling in love with each other.

7. Overboard

The Anna Faris, Eva Longoria, John Hannah and Josh Segarra starrer is the official remake of 1987 film of the same name. Though more on lines of a rom-com, this promises lovely moments and we can’t wait.

8. Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again

Ok, being downright honest, this is the one I’m waiting for the most. Like, who doesn’t wanna know Donna’s (Meryl Streep’s) story? We’re going back in time and when the trailer dropped, exclaiming ‘Mamma mia’ was the natural response. *winks*

9. A Star is Born

The Bradley Cooper directorial has a stellar cast with Cooper, Lady Gaga, Sam Elliott, Andrew Dice Clay, and Dave Chappelle. Rumours are rife that it is a story inspired by Kurt Cobain’s life. High on music, this is said to be a romantic drama.

10. Crazy Rich Asians

Based on the novel of the same name by Kevin Kwan, the film will see Constance Wu as Rachel Chu and Henry Golding as Nick Young. It is directed by Jon M. Chu and is a story that has our interests piqued.

The Jason James directorial is on a complicated subject where a man accidently falls in love with a girl who was almost his adoptive sister. Umm, that complicated. Sounds quirky, though.  It stars Thomas Middleditch, Jess Weixler, and Johannah Newmarch.

Apart from these lovelies, there are many dramedies, romantic dramas and comedies, releasing in 2018. Eyes are peeled out, people!
