Ranbir Kapoor Says He’s Not A Great Husband To Alia But Has The Desire To Be Better

When Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt married Ranbir Kapoor last year, people said that she manifested her crush as her husband. Their intimate balcony wedding with merely 28 guests became the talk of the town and had mixed reactions from people online.

A couple of months later, the couple welcomed their daughter Raha.

Since then, Ranbir has given multiple interviews wherein he joked about Alia’s baby bump, said that Alia has a vivacious personality that he doesn’t want Raha to inculcate, and also mocked Alia’s bathroom habits.

And for all of these comments, he was slammed left, right, and center by Alia’s fans for being a typical 40-year-old desi uncle who keeps cribbing about his wife.

Now, in a recent interview, Ranbir opened up about his marriage with Alia and shared how he thinks of himself as a husband. He said that he doesn’t think he’s a great husband but he does have the desire to be better, reported Hindustan Times.

“You feel overall you are doing better. But life is such that it is never going to be perfect. I don’t think I am a great son, a great husband, or a brother. But I think I have the desire to be better and that’s important as long as you are aware of it, you will be on the right track.”

Alia would be the right person here to comment on what kind of a husband is Ranbir to her. But the fact that he realizes that and is consciously making an effort of upgrading and improving himself earns him the brownie points. What do you think?
