Patanjali Is Going To Import ‘Brazilian Bull Semen’ To Make Indian Cows More Productive!

Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, the CEO of Patanjali are expanding horizons of the already million dollar company, this time all the way to Brazil! And the cause is very close to all of our hearts, cows.

Patanjali has decided to import the semen of Brazilian bulls for artificial insemination of Indian cows which has been proven to be the best bet for them to give birth strong progeny out of which 92% will be female.

In theory, bulls are of no practical importance and milk giving cows are of enormous economic importance. This plan might just save bulls and cows from being sent to the slaughterhouses.

The Brazilian bulls are allegedly indigenous Indian bulls which were taken to Brazil and have produced potent progeny with longer lifespan and milk producing capacity. Yashpal Arya, the chief of Patanjali’s dairy unit said,

“The Brazilians back in the 1940s visited India and taken indigenous cows, which over a period with selective breeding, balanced nutrition and care, had produced a rich pedigree of female and male calves.”

The male bulls are known as ‘proven’ bulls who have a sure shot at producing females.

“With the use of technology and identification, the Brazilians have maintained a bloodline of proven bulls. Hence, these bulls (in Brazil) are basically Indian indigenous bulls but born and brought up in Brazil.”

This sounds like great news for cows! But bad for Brazilian bulls because only their semen is going to get ghar wapsi.
