Union Minister Ramdas Athawale Accuses Kohli, Yuvraj Of Fixing Champions Trophy Ind-Pak Match

On June 18, 2017 India and Pakistan locked horns in final match of the ICC Champions Trophy, 2017 in London. While India lost the match to Pak, the players on both ends indulged in a friendly banter and enjoyed a good game.

In fact, Virat Kohli’s humble speech on the day was a testimony to the fact that ‘you win some, you lose some’.

Days after the match, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale spoke to Times Now and alleged that Virat Kohli and Yuvraj had fixed the match. He said –

“Isiliye mujhe doubt hai ki inka match fixing tha kya?”

He further said that the entire team let the country down, because they lost a match to Pakistan. He added –

And if that wasn’t enough, he also said that Dalit cricketers should betaken in the team, instead of these players. He also added that he wants Dalits to get a reservation of 25% in ALL sports.

You can watch the entire video of Mr. Ramdas speaking his mind, here.

I once read a joke about sending 5 Dalits, 2 ST/SC and 1 General quota person to space by ISRO. I guess, minister babu took it a bit too seriously.
