There are no two ways that Rakhi Sawant makes headlines wherever she goes. While it could be for reasons you may like or not, Rakhi, if I may, is the Arnab Goswami of showbiz. Love her, hate her but just can’t ignore her!
While I could go on about the enigma she is, I have bigger and better news to share. So brace yourself, here it goes…
Rakhi Sawant is all set to make a biopic on the controversial Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Not just that, she is also playing Honeypreet Insaan! Beleive it or not, the shooting has already begun with an item number.Â
Yes, you heard that right. According to reports, Raza Murad will be seen playing the rape convict. Apparently, the film will also feature ex-Bigg Boss housemate Ejaz Khan.
Truth be told, Rakhi, who has known the father-daughter duo for years is making this movie with her brother, Rakesh Sawant to “expose” the ‘baba’. In an interview with The Quint, she said,Â
“I felt we needed to expose Ram Rahim and his so-called daughter’s kale kartoot (evil deeds) so that the public doesn’t fall for such evil godmen. When my brother came up with the idea I immediately latched onto it.”
“We’ve named the film Ab Insaan Hoga. We shot an item song Bewafaa.”
The song was shot in Delhi. BTW, the actor seen in the picture is not the veteran Raza Murad. However, it is yet to be confirmed if this actor also goes by the same name.
Recalling her ties with Ram Rahim and Honeypreet, Rakhi insists that she is best-qualified to drop the veil on both.Â
“I’ve known them well for years. I am best qualified to expose Ram Rahim and his so-called daughter.”
She even reminisced about the time she visited the Sirsa and eventually, the self-proclaimed Godman’s secret gufa. However, she blames the parents of the sadhvis of everything that happens inside it.Â
That’s not it. Rakhi even went out to state how she got to know of Ram Rahim’s lechery. She said,Â
“What was Viagra doing in a godman’s room? Mera toh dimaag hil gaya. I decided that I will expose him one day, so here I am.”
Wow! I’d be lying if I said I’m not excited to this film. Meanwhile, thank you, Rakhi…for being you.
