There is no better way of saying this but social media is a breeding pool of trolls that feed and function on hate! It’s as if their motors are wired to troll anything and everything that has an opinion. Yes, everybody is entitled to their individuality but you’ll be a fool to expect any of the ‘i’ in individuality from the hate brigade.
However, there is another brigade that never bows down to the former; the B-town brigade! While Twinkle Khanna has come out in the open and confessed that she is ‘troll-proof’, Karan Johar, apart from his filmmaking skills, is known to give it as good as he gets. And now, Rajeev Masand, the celebrated film critic has joined the ranks.
It all started when Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap posted a milestone on his Facebook timeline and shared his happiness with his followers.
And Rajeev, being the industry man he is, took the opportunity to congratulate Anurag on his feat in a friendly comment.Â
But that did not go down well with a certain Mr Vee Jay, who left a nasty comment, questioning Rajeev’s integrity as a critic.Â
Needless to say, Rajeev did not gulp it down quietly. Instead, gave a clap back that we can save for posterity!Â
It didn’t end there (well obviously). While Jay tried his best to save face, Rajeev had the last laugh.
