If slowly and steadily I’m beginning to like the modus operandi of one politician/minister, that would definitely be Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu’s ways. Â The minister has been taking Digital India quite seriously.
First he helped a woman passenger who was being harassed, next he helped a son by providing a wheelchair for his ailing father, after that a group of school students who were stranded in a train with no pantry, and now this:
IT Analyst from Mumbai, Aman Narang was travelling aboard the Chandigarh – Amritsar Superfast Express and bought a water bottle that the vendor tried selling him for Rs.20 instead of the marked Rs.15.
So to express the injustice he tweeted to the Railway Minister about this.
@RailMinIndia clearly mentioned Rs 15 for railways nd still dey selling at Rs 20. Train no 12241. Take action pic.twitter.com/NGDZvyhNVB

Minister Suresh Prabhu who is now taking quick actions against such tweet-complaints responded immediately.

Not just the quick reply but the quick action taken against the railway catering service also put the Railway Minister in the good books of people
@naman38 @RailMinIndia @sureshpprabhu Action taken. Fine of Rs.10,000/- has been imposed on the concerned Catering Licensee,

A few other people also took to twitter to express their displeasure with the catering service and their support for the Railway Minister’s attention to detail towards railway passengers
@IR_EDTNC @naman38 @RailMinIndia @sureshpprabhu license should be cancelled … there should be strict actions against these people… (2/2)

The Railway Minister has got style, but there’s also no denying that he’s putting Twitter to good use.
Good job Mr Suresh Parbhu. You are winning hearts slowly and steadily.
