Rahul Dravid Finally Enters ICC’s Hall Of Fame, Netizens Want To Rename It As ‘Wall Of Fame’

The name of Rahul Dravid is usually associated with the words ‘consistent’, ‘reliable’ and of course, ‘The Wall’. That’s because Dravid has seen the Indian cricket team through some tough times. He has fought with his bat, donned the wicket-keeper’s gloves, been a captain and even took a saline drip to make sure that his nation wins.

Rahul Dravid has also earned a lot of respect due to his calm demeanour on the field. And while his peers have attained a lot of traction, he has always chosen to remain underrated and spoken with his work. So, after winning numerous matches for India and coaching the U-19 team to World Cup glory, Dravid has now been inducted into ICC’s Hall of Fame.

ICC announced today, through its Twitter handle, that Rahul Dravid has entered the Hall of Fame, along with Ricky Ponting and Claire Taylor.

Rahul Dravid has scored a whopping 13,288 runs in 164 tests with 36 centuries. In addition to that, he has 10,889 runs in 344 ODIs with 12 centuries in his CV. And with that record, he has joined the likes of Anil Kumble, Kapil Dev, Bishan Bedi and Sunil Gavaskar.
