18 Times Punjabi Food Was The Nirvana Of Cooking

‘Punjabi is what punjabi eats’.

That’s my saying, so don’t google it. Yes, I’m pretty much Punjabi, but in one way than most others: my food habits. I absolutely love Punjabi food and I get asked very often if I can cook butter chicken. Sadly, I have to nod my head in disappointment.

But today I realised as I dug into my Dal Makhani that, this is food nirvana. I mean at this point I don’t really care about life or death or a million issues that I usually whine about at lunch. I care solely about this Dal Makhani.  I decided I’ve had enough. Not only am I going to learn to cook all of these, but I’m also going to give all of you recipes for every single mouth watering punjabi dish I can think of.

So when you want a taste of nirvana, you can just walk to the kitchen and make it yourself.
