Pune Will Soon Get A Doggo Park Where Dog Parents Can Take Their Fur Babies

It’s a tough task to nurture your love for dogs while living in crowded cities. There isn’t enough empty space for them to roam around freely. The roads and open drainage systems are so unclean that you always have to mind that your pet doesn’t ingest anything dangerous. And because of all these problems, poor doggies are usually confined to the boundaries of our apartment. However, if you’re living in Pune, then those days are soon going to come to an end.

According to The Indian Express, the Pune Smart City Development Corporation Ltd (PSCDCL) is planning to construct a first-of-its-kind park for pets. It’ll be located in Baner, where dogs and their owners will be allowed to spend frolicking around for hours on end. An official said,

“The park has been planned under the placemaking site on various themes… it is a dedicated space for pets and pet owners.”

The park will be spread over an area of 751.43 sq. meter in Baner. This will not only allow your dogs to play and have fun, but also mingle with other dogs as well. It’ll also be jam-packed with various fun items like jumping rings, dog tunnels and weave poles.

“The park will also have a cafe, clinic, parlour and shop, exclusively for pets. It will have pet agility equipment, cafe benches for pets and water outlets especially designed for them.”

Dogs are certainly one of the best animals to be kept as pets. But we shouldn’t adopt a dog just to fill up our Instagram and Twitter feeds for likes. No, instead we should love them like they love us and take every necessary step for their well-being. As dog parks are scarce in India, every city should now take Pune’s example and attempt to put more smiles on those cute puppies.
