Helpless, Stranded On The Road At 1:30am, This Delhi Woman Was Rescued By Two Brave Cops

These are the three words embellished onto the emblem of the Delhi Police uniform. The police are meant to be the guardians of our cities who’ve sworn to protect it. Be it the middle of a bone-chilling winter or the beginning of a scorching summer, these are the people we can trust to help us in times of crisis.

Most recently, two Delhi policemen ASI Om Prakash and ASI Daya Kishan truly embodied this safeguarding spirit. The two came to the aid of Priyanka Kamboj, who was stranded on the road with a flat tyre at 1:30 am, and ensured that she got home safe and sound.

 

While several car services behaved opportunistically and asked Priyanka for exorbitant amounts in exchange for their assistance, these cops dutifully helped her change her tire without expecting anything in return.

I hope the policemen all across our country take note of these two men of honour and stay true to the words etched on their emblem.
