Kolkata, Maharashtra, Punjab Police Adopt Musical Ways To Urge People To Remain Indoors

Human beings are social animals. It is difficult for us to stay without human communication for a long time. Which is why, even when the country is under a strict lockdown, many have got into trouble for strolling on the streets. To solve this issue, police officials from different states have had to come up with creative ways to urge people to remain indoors and make them hopeful for better times.

For example, yesterday, Kolkata Police created a concert-like atmosphere on the road where officials sang a popular Bengali song, ‘Bela Bose’, while neighbouring people switched on their phone’s torch-lights and swaged it from their balconies, reports India Today.

In another locality in Kolkata, the police sang ‘We Shall Overcome’ to boost the morale of the people amidst such dark times.

Pune Police, on the other hand, created an anthem inspired by the patriotic song ‘Kandho Se Milte Hai Kandhe’ urging people to remain indoors.

In another video, Maharashtra police constables were spotted singing ‘Zindagi Maut Na Ban Jaye’ – an apt song to encourage people to stay at home during the pandemic!

Punjab Police composed an original song and shot a video on the precautionary measures against the coronavirus creating awareness, reports ABP. Have a look!

It is heartwarming to see the police taking such creative measures to send out important messages. As responsible citizens, we must adhere to the lockdown to keep ourselves and others safe!
