A Paris Attack Survivor Tells How He Narrowly Escaped Death, All Thanks To His Phone

The sudden and unfortunate attacks in Paris churned out lot of stories about various survivors which will send a chill down your spine; especially this one.

What happened?

A guy named Sylvestre was eating his lunch in a cafe near the French national stadium, in Paris where he survived a suicide bombing because of his mobile phone.

How did the phone save him?

His phone took the hit of a flying shrapnel that came his way and Sylvester had his phone raised near his head. His phone got a deep dent and the screen was shattered.

What would have happened if the phone wasn’t there?

He said that if the phone hadn’t been there, his head would’ve ‘exploded’ into bits.
