This Powerful Photo Series Shows How Patriotism Looks Like ‘Behind The Pardah’

Republic Day just went by and there are a million of patriotic stories hailing from each corner of our nation. Be it a li’l kid handing out National flags at signals or the close-knit colonial function in your complex or locality, people have different ways of showing their loyalty toward the great nation of ours. Take these burqa-clad girls from Delhi for that matter.

Posted by Roshni Khatri, who went to an all-girls school in the “streets of Seelampur (Delhi) which has an intermingling of lessons of Islam, lessons of women empowerment and lessons of nationalism for their girls”. And, they are vividly beautiful.

Take a look.
