Most of us have been in a situation where some random person calls us up on our mobile phone and asks for another random guy, and we are like, ‘Bhaiya, ye wrong number hai!’ We understand that a goof-up between mobile numbers is normal. But when that happens on Live TV, it is sure to make headlines.
Well, this hilarious incident happened with a Twitter user when he received a call from a news channel assuming he was Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh. What’s even funnier is that this guy didn’t just hang up the call saying, ‘wrong number’, but instead, decided to roast the news channel on the live bulletin.
It all transpired when the news channel was conducting a bulletin on the retirement of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. They also invited several people to comment on his retirement and one of them was supposed to be Yuvraj Singh.
When they dialled the number and asked him to comment, the person from the other side says, “Mai toh Yuvraj Singh bol he nahi rah. Aap galat bande ko le aaye. Hahaha bahut maja aaya. Aapki TRP toh kharab nhi hogyi.”
This hilarious blunder got recorded and made it to social media.
Anchor: Yuvraj Singh bhi humare sath hai. Bahut emotional karne wala pal hai. Duniya ke mahantam cricketers mein se ek jab cricket ko alvida kahte hai

Well, we were also sceptical about the authenticity of this clip. But when we dug deep, we found the video of the bulletin on the news channel’s official YouTube channel.
Here is it:
Well, the guy who turned out to be a wrong number also confirmed this news through his tweet:

Well, with people working remotely from the comfort of their homes, the number of blunders on live TV has increased manifolds. Remember how an actress was caught eating during a live TV debate? Or when a journalist’s cats started fighting behind her while she was live on TV?
Chalo koi na, galati toh insano se he hoti hai. LOL!
