Miss Bangladesh 2018: Judge Asks “What Is H2O?”, Baffled Contestant Has A Hilarious Reply

“A beauty with brains”- the ideal standard that contestants are expected to meet when taking part in beauty competitions. However often times, people tend to forget the brains part of it and focus only outward beauty. And when that happens it leads to hilarious results during the part of the contests where the contestants are expected to dazzle their judges with their intellect.

Somewhat like what happened during the Miss World Bangladesh Contest of 2018, where the Q/A round witnessed some hilarious turn of events.

Janatul Ferdous Oishi was crowned the Miss World Bangladesh 2018 on the 30th of September.

However, it was a couple of other hilarious moments from the event that has got the Internet wheezing with laughter now.

During the Q/A round, one of the contestants was asked a pretty simple question by a judge:

“What is h20?”

And while anyone who’s had basic chemistry in school would know that it is the chemical composition of water, the contestant seems to have been baffled by the question.

Seeing her dilemma, the judge helps her out by telling her it means “water”. However, the contestant seems to have been on a completely different page as she replies:

Oh, dear God.

The judge takes her amusing answer in stride and sarcastically replies “We know there is a restaurant named h20, but we don’t know what it means. Very sad!”

Funnily enough, this wasn’t the only hilarious event of the night.

The female judge who follows this hilarious exchange started her turn off with a bang:

Ummm… Okay.

In the event which took place at the International Convention Centre Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, Nishant Nawar Salwa and Naziba Bushra became the first and second runner-ups. The winner, Oishi, will represent the country to Miss World 2018, held in China in December.
