Football is a religion to those who follow. And, Lionel Messi the KING of hearts that I understand, are uncountable.

The world loves the FC Barcelona and Argentina forward and go crazy at the sight of him! So when someone decides to dress up like him and walk the streets to prank people, it is bound to get out of hand, don’t you think?

Iranian student, Reza Parastesh looks so much like Lionel Messi that he thought it would be plenty of fun to walk Iranian city of Hamedan, dressed up like the man himself.

Meet, Reza Parateshah. Yes, Reza and NOT Messi. Isn’t the resemblance uncanny?

 

Reza’s father gave him the idea of the prank. He was the one who noticed the resemblance a few months back and also got him a Barcelona shirt.

 

To Reza’s surprise, people of Hamedan started coming in numbers to see him! A lot of them started to plead for selfies and pictures!

 

Soon enough, it got so ‘Messi’ that streets started flooding with Messi fans and police had to intervene. He was rushed to the local police station to clear traffic and prevent chaos in the city.

 

Reza was actually very impressed with his little stunt. He is planning on learning some tricks to do with the football, so that he can make more such appearances! To give you a little more perspective, just look at this!

In defense of the people of Hamedan who fell for the prank, we love Messi so much that even a picture with the doppelganger would be sacred. And I totally get you. Hey Reza, if you are listening…I want one too!
