“Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas” – Albert Einstein
Mathematics is a subject which everybody loves to hate. Â While it’s a scoring subject for some, it can be a nightmare for others. If you hate maths, I’m sure you have your reasons. But if you love maths(like me), you’ll definitely be able to relate to the following points.
1. Your reaction when people tell you that they hate mathematics
Solving awesome equations, finding X, what’s not to like.
2. You are labelled as the class geek
You might not love it, but you don’t mind it.
3. Your hostel room is the centre of activity during exam time
You’re the person whom everybody depends on to magically make their mathematics troubles go away.
4. People expect you to answer all the questions in the class
With great power comes great responsibilities.
5. When someone challenges you to solve a really difficult problem.
6. That feeling you get when you solve a problem which nobody else was able to
Well, that was pretty easy!
7. Talking to your crush isn’t that difficult during Maths lecture
Because you’re her/his savior in times of mathematical distress.
8. Also because you’ve got some smooth moves
Smoothness level : 999
9. You’re the center of attraction during that one Maths lecture
10. You make yourself really upset if you’re not able to solve a problem
You can’t help but think about it day & night, until you get a solution.
11. And you sometimes get solutions in your dreams
I’m sure all of you have solved a problem in your sleep, haven’t you?
12. You can never get enough of it
Algebra, calculus, trigonometry… the fun never ends.
Doesn’t matter if you love it or hate it, this one subject has undoubtedly given us some of the most adventurous memories from school & college, didn’t it?
