The Las Vegas mass shooting incident that claimed many lives at a music concert left the world aghast. It happened all of a sudden and a gunman opened-fire at Route 91 Harvest Festival killing at least 59 and injuring more than 500.

Amid the chaos, there were people who didn’t lose their calm and were helping others out. Amongst those brave souls was an ex-marine veteran, 29-year-old Taylor Winston, who found an empty truck with keys inside. He stole it and helped in taking the victims to the hospital.

THIS restores our faith in humanity. Many brave-hearts like Taylor risked their lives to help the victims of the unfortunate incident. Taylor doesn’t know how many victims survived the injuries. He returned the keys to the owner of the truck on Monday.

In an interview with CBS, Taylor cited the episode,

People started scattering and screaming and that’s when we knew something real was happening. The shots got louder and louder, closer to us and saw people getting hit, it was like we could be hit at any second. Once we got to the fence, I helped throw a bunch of people over, and got myself over.
I saw a field with a bunch of white trucks. I tested my luck to see if any of them had keys in it, first one we tried opening had keys sitting right there. I started looking for people to take to the hospital. There was just too many and it was overwhelming how much blood was everywhere. Once we dropped them off, we were like well, let’s go back for round two and go get some more.”

He has been hailed as a hero on the inter-web and we, too, are lauding for his bravery. Thank you, Taylor.
