Last night, when several young adults gathered in the Manchester Arena to enjoy the performance of their favourite singer, Ariana Grande, something terrible happened.
A suicide bomber claimed 22 lives and left 59 people severely injured. Prayers and love for Manchester have been pouring in all day on Twitter. The world is in disbelief of the terror attack that claimed lives of innocents.

In what is being described as the ‘most deadly attack the UK has ever faced’, people have united to help each other out. 4 Gurudwaras in the vicinity of the attack remained open all through the night offering food and shelter to the victims.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara Educational and Cultural Centre, Gurdwara Sri Guru Harkrisham Sahib, Dasmesh Sikh Temple and Central Gurdwara Manchester; opened their doors to everyone who needed help.
Sikhs in the area also offered free rides to anyone who needed it. Harjinder S Kukreja tweeted about it –

Many locals opened their doors to help the needy. Twitter was using the hashtag #RoomForManchester to let people know that they are not alone at this time of distress.

And many were helped and safely returned home after a tragic night.

The city of Manchester is definitely shaken, but it’s not giving up. When an inhuman act tried to divide them, humanity brought them back together.
