When it comes to impressing someone on a dating application, people brainstorm harder than they would do in their final term papers, right? While one might resort to flirtatious cheesy pickup lines to get the conversation going, some go beyond the virtual boundaries to win over their crush. Like this guy who decided to lure his tinder crush by showing her his pasta-making skills.
21-year-old Andrew Wang made special efforts to win over his Tinder match. A Columbia University student, Wang created a twitter account so that he could show off his pasta-making skills to a woman named Tilly who he met on the dating app, reported News18. He created an account named ‘Tortellinis for Tilly’ under the handle @tillytortellini and tweeted six pictures on how he made the ‘tortellini army’ from scratch.

The last step was the one for which he had created the account, to begin with- to “win her heart”.

His six-step guide went viral on the internet when Tilly retweeted it on her account, appreciating Wang’s efforts. She captioned the tweet:
“This sweet man … made a twitter account to show me his pasta because you can’t send pictures on tinder.”

In their initial chat on the application, Wang got the idea of creating a Twitter account especially for Tilly since the dating app doesn’t allow users to exchange pictures. Speaking to Insider, Wang said, “I asked her about her hopes and dreams and she mentioned screenwriter, comedian, and amateur chef. That one was my green light.” Wang said that he learned how to make tortellini with his little sister Katelyn.
“I am only good at making tortellini. She’s the real chef in the family. She trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and my secret is that I go to her for date recommendations.”
People on the internet have been crushing over Wang’s cute gesture:

Surprisingly, his ‘tortellini army’ worked in his favour and he ended up winning a date with her. “She was kind enough to give me her Friday night, and I’m looking forward to it. She’s so awesome,” he added.
His tweets have been liked 460 thousand times but that didn’t distract him from his love. “I’m not gonna let it get to my head,” he added. “I’m focused on her.” In the end, Wang does have one piece of advice for people dating online. “Don’t send nudes,” he said. “Send noodles.”
Awww. Isn’t this ‘ah-dough-rable’!
