The more time I spend scrolling through social media, the more I get convinced that the internet is an amazing place. There’s hardly been a day when I was not appalled or bemused by the content online.
So, while I was digging deep to find ‘Rasode me kon tha’, I stumbled upon a video of the luckiest man of the month. I was taken aback when I saw this visual shared by Twitter user @nisarpari.
The video opens with a man from Chavara, Kollam District in Kerala casually walking on a motorcycle track on a not-so-busy road. However, minutes into the video, a speeding vehicle comes out of nowhere and passes by the lungi-clad man, avoiding him by an inch, reported NDTV.
Even the man was astonished when the vehicle zoomed past him. He appeared visibly shocked as he grasped the fact that he just escaped what could have been a fatal accident. The driver overtook from the left which is reportedly a common traffic violation.
The footage of the man’s narrow escape from the speeding vehicle was captured on a CCTV camera.
Luckiest man of the month award goes to this man.

The shocking video sparked a debate online on the driver’s negligent driving.
He was walking on the motorcycle way not where 4 wheelers are supposed to operate. The driver was definitely way over any speed limit. People like you defending road rage culprits is the reason more people die in road accidents in India

By God's grace he is safe. why even people drive like this and what's with the speed.

Truly a providential escape and driver must be drunk or adventure crazy.

people walking on roads is common but overspeeding truck going on the sidewalk isn't.

Some people also alleged that the pedestrian was at fault.
Lucky? No. That driver saved his life just in time. He was walking on the road.

Reason why people do not use footpaths in India.

That's why one should always walk facing the incoming traffic..

#OMG this pedestrian has started the #SecondLife
Driver should be identified – question in front of officers shall be, whether to punish him or to reward him 🤔@blrcitytraffic— Venkat (@tvchalapathi) August 23, 2020
The driver of that truck needs an applaud for this.
Moreover, the lanes are too short in width for a 2 way highway traffic— Jamal Khan.JaiHind! (@jamal4everyone) August 23, 2020
that driver crossed his vehicle by pole and man and then got back on road without hitting tree ….

Do the right thing when walking on Indian roads: Walk on the right side so you can see oncoming traffic.

Both have done equally mistakes

Well, this is what you call, ‘Bal Bal Bachna’. Who do you think was at fault?
