I’m sorry to do this to you but there are chances you’ll not look at biryani the same way after you see what you see.
To begin with, Indian railways enjoy a reputation that revolves around a lot of D words (cue: disappointment, dejection, derailment). While Suresh Prabhu and team are trying their level best to upgrade the prevailing conditions, there is more than one reason that pulls them back. In fact, I am about to tell you one.
Believe it or not, a lizard was found in the biryani served to a passenger on board the Poorva Express Train.

It happened in UP when the train was on the Howrah-Delhi route.
The incident comes to light days after a CAG report rapped the Indian Railways over the quality of food served on Indian trains, stating it as “unfit for human consumption”.
A co-passenger even tweeted out to Indian Railways sharing the pitiable quality of food.

She even cited that after consumption of the same, the passenger was taken ill.

Fortunately, help arrived thereafter and the boarder was given proper medication.

Officials, however, are asserting that the incident will not be taken lightly. Kishor Kumar, DRM Danapur Division said,
A check-up was done in Danapur Division&he was given medicine. Action will be taken after investigation: Kishor Kumar, DRM Danapur Division pic.twitter.com/H4Xt0hSgY0

While death is debatable, it goes without a say that such lapses in judgement can land a person in the hospital. Hopefully, this will be the last time we hear of such horrid episodes.
