Just a short while ago, Lisa Haydon got hitched to her beau Dino Lalvani at a private ceremony in Thailand. As soon as Lisa made her wedding public, she was congratulated for the most part. However, a leading English daily thought of doing more.
The English daily published a full feature on cross-border marriages, calling Lisa’s in-laws ‘Pakistanis’. The actress did not take too kindly to such an article and slammed the daily on Twitter.
Dear @dna my husband is Indian. My father in law – Gulu Lalvani, was born in pre partition India and was thrown out of what is today…

Called Pakistan – to call someone who has gone through the struggles of partition non Indian is absurd.

Sad this article are the good wishes you would give a girl on the day she begins a new&exciting chapter in her life.

The world needs lovers not haters❤️

Furthermore, Lisa even resorted to sarcasm, making a reference to the current situation wherein filmmakers are unwilling to work with married actors.
How nice to be on set today STILL working in “Bollywood” post marriage ??

She certainly did not hold back! What do the readers think of Lisa’s reaction?
