Despite all the negativity that the online world promotes, we cannot deny the fact that social media has helped countless people reunite with their loved ones. Whether it be distant relatives or long-lost friends, platforms like Facebook and Instagram are the cause behind why a lot of people are still in touch.
Similarly, LinkedIn helped two childhood best friends reunite after 15 years! A woman named Vedika Sangle took to Twitter to share how she connected with a person named Barnali who turned out to be her best friend from back in school. She also shared a picture of them in school uniform.
Here’s a look at their conversation after so many years:
Tweeting the conversation, Vedika wrote, “LinkedIn literally reunited me with my childhood best friend after 15 years.”

The reunion made a lot of people on Twitter so happy. While some called it wholesome, others gave credit to social media platforms for being of such help. Here’s a look at some of the responses:
Usually people would add such a friend to their school WhatsApp group and then after that the relationship would go cold.
In today’s we are able to stay in touch with people, but it lacks depth.
Hope it’s different with you 🙂
