It isn’t news that India hasn’t been the kindest to the third gender. And it’s not just the identity crisis; the LGBTQIA community, even today, is fighting mass unawareness, taboos and social stigma on a daily basis. Like the loathing eyes weren’t enough to brave, it really is the presumed abnormality that makes it even more difficult.
But, like they say, where there is a will there is a way!
Remember some odd days back, when we told you about one such will, where Kochi Metro employed 23 trans people for its newest line?

Well, the good news is PM Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the Metro line and this is how it looks.Â

It’s 2017 guys, can we start behaving the same way?! Also, kudos Kerala government and the administration who have championed equality and how! Our hats are in line with respect, in a hope that more will follow.
