There are some things in life, you grow up to regret. Right from those embarrassing pictures of you as a naked toddler that your parents circulate to mortifying pics from the school play where you were outfitted as a monkey complete with a tail! But, you can always blame all these on your folks or the kindergarten teacher!
However, there’s one little boy, who has no one to blame for what he might grow up to realise is his biggest regret yet! Yes, folks, we’re talking about the toddler who turned down the chance to hug MS Dhoni.
The legendary cricketer is wonderful with children and has a huge fan base with kids of all ages. His youngest fan girl may just be his daughter Ziva, but his adorable videos doing dad things have been winning the internet for ages!
So it came as quite a surprise that a toddler spurned Mahi when the cricketer reached out for a friendly cuddle. It all began when Mahi played a charity football game ahead of the India vs Australia 2019 series. Just as he was surrounded by fans who demanded selfies and autographs; a toddler caught Dhoni’s attention.

You can see the star cricketer reach for the child, asking- “Aaoge.” But blame it on a bad mood or the crowd, but the kid started crying.
“Royega toh fayda nahi hai. Photo nahi milegi,” quipped Dhoni as he ambled away.
The viral video has garnered a lot of attention by fans who are tickled by the incident. It should suffice to say that there’s something the little fella might grow up to regret!
