Kerala Woman Blocks Bus Plying In The Wrong Lane, Compels Driver To Obey Traffic Rules

They say that if something wrong is happening and you do not stand up against it, your silence speaks louder than words. It sends the wrong message to the wrongdoer that you have accepted the wrong. But sometimes, merely calling out the wrongdoer doesn’t help and people turn to more creative ways of protest.

Recently, two Mangaluru school students dressed up as astronauts and ‘moonwalked‘ across the city’s potholes to gain the attention of the civic authority officials.

In Kerala, a woman riding a two-wheeler compelled a public bus driver to follow traffic rules and stop driving in the wrong lane. The incident was captured on video and shared on Facebook by Malayalam actor Uni Mukundan.

According to The Indian Express, The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus was travelling from Kasaragod to Kottayam. The state-run bus was in the wrong lane when the woman stopped right in front of it. She refused to make way for it and after a pause, the driver was forced to change lanes.

People applauded her bold move and appreciated the fact that an offender was taught a lesson on road safety.

Kudos to the motorist for taking a stand against the traffic violation and not moving until the driver relented and went back to his designated lane.
