Kapil Sharma-Ginni Chatrath’s Big Fat Punjabi Wedding Kicked Off With Lots Of Fun And Dancing!

India’s favourite funnyman Kapil Sharma’s life has been quite tumultuous in the past few years. He’s seen highs and lows, started new TV shows and dabbled in movies. His love life too, has been through rough patches. But now, finally, Kapil is ready to seal his happily ever after with Ginni Chatrath.

The couple’s wedding invites were quite fancy, pictures of which popped up on social media sometime back.

The wedding festivities were spread over several days, in Jalandhar, kickstarting with Ginni’s chooda ceremony.

Kapil Sharma’s telly friends and fellow comedians were super excited for his wedding!

Krushna Abhishek shared this picture of him, Kapil’s costar and onscreen wife from his show Sumona Charavarti, actress Arti Singh, and singer Richa Sharma, amongst others heading to Amritsar for the wedding!

And when they finally found their BFF and soon-to-be groom Kapil, their excitement clearly peaked!

The pre-wedding festivities included a Mata Ki Chowki and a Jaggo ceremony (kind of like an all-nighter party for the bride and groom’s families to celebrate), and everyone seemed to have an absolute blast!

Full on Punjabi style sho-shaa and dhamaal!

Richa Sharma sang during the Mata ki chowki, and Kapil’s mom joined her on stage!

The venue for the Jaggo ceremony was LIT AF, and the baraatis managed to click a bomb-ass selfie with the groom!

I spy comedian Bharti Singh and husband Harsh Limbachiya, Rajiv Thakur, and Arti Singh in the frame!

After all, clicking pictures is the most important thing we all do at friends’ weddings! So here’s one more!

There was quite a bit of dancing going on, and Sudesh Lehri seemed to be in the middle of all that action!
