Desis React After Kangana Ranaut Says People Talking Badly About ‘Tejas’ Are ‘Anti-Nationals’

Word out on the street is that Kangana Ranaut’s latest film ‘Tejas’ is struggling to survive at the box office. Film exhibitors have cancelled 50% of the shows because of low audience occupancy at the theatres. Very few people are going to movie halls to watch the film and as a result, it is failing to mint the desired amount of money.

In a video that was shared by ANI, after a special screening of ‘Tejas’ at Lucknow, Kangana Ranaut insinuated that those who do not watch her film or are speaking badly about it are “anti-nationals”.

“CM Yogi Adityanath got emotional while watching the movie. He has assured us that he will support us and will motivate the nationalists to connect with the film…It is not a film on women empowerment, it is a film about women power. The reaction was very overwhelming. Maharaj ji appreciated the film a lot and the fact that it is an ode to the life of a soldier. Yogi ji has assured us of protecting the film against those anti-national elements who are pulling down the film. He said he would encourage the nationalists to watch and promote the film. All we want is the film to be shown in schools to kids and for the families to watch it,” she said.

Do you think Kangana is unnecessarily politicizing her film not working at the box office?
