Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t watched the Season 7 finale episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ already, beware, the night is long and full of spoilers.
Now I don’t know how’s your day going, but I’m having a blast. Mostly because the last episode was BOMB! IIn the last episode, Jon and Dany were just sitting on a tree, I expected them to do some K-I-S-S-I-N-G in the season finale.
And while the Internet swore they were NOT okay with incest, they were all rooting for half-Targeron Jon, to nail his Aunt Dany. And so the season finale was one for the eyes.
So they did have the… what-you-do-under-the-bed-sheets, I mean they did more than just make out. Well, they had the s-word. SEX, dammit!
And my curious eyes have always been in love with the chemistry that had been piling up in bundles since the time Jon met Dany in this season. Now, it all finally comes to a beautiful end. Until next season.
Kit Harrington and Emilia Clarke also sat down for an interview with the Entertainment Weekly and talked about the scene that will change everything. Kit spoke about the saucy scene and said,
Emilia who was grossed out about ‘incest’ and in fact exclaimed ‘Ewww’ thinking about it, also got quite awkward talking about the scene. She said,
“Yeah [I would say], ‘Would you just stop? Just give me some sexy eyes, don’t keep talking about sexual chemistry all the time.”
And then awkwardly added,
“I love that when we get to the saucy stuff it’s a beautiful acceptance of a wordless … yep.”
Talking about the big reveal that Jon Snow is actually Aegon Targaryen…Kit said that Dany and Jon might be unpredictable when they come to know about it. He said,
“I said to Emilia it’s going to be a really cool scene when they find out. That part of it, I can’t predict. It could be them walking off into the sunset. It could be them killing each other.”
While Emilia was pretty clear that Dany has worked really, really hard for that throne and so it should be hers, she supported her argument by pointing out a very important detail.
“I’ve worked so hard, I don’t want to share that throne,” she replied. “No. The throne’s big enough for one dragon bum, and that’s mine. That’s it!”
Will they walk into the sunset together or just turn against each other, only time will tell. Till then, we are really happy that Jon and Dany have found each other!
