Jio Bans Multiple Porn Websites, Desi Twitter Reacts To This Betrayal With Dard Bhaare Memes

Back in 2015, the Government had decided to ban porn in India and cut off access to almost 800 websites. However, thanks to the huge uproar caused by all the thirsty naujawans of our country, that decision was stayed. But now they’ve done it again oh so secretly that people didn’t even get a chance to protest.

According to India Today, hundreds of popular porn websites in India isn’t accessible anymore. And, by the looks of it, it’s Jio that has enforced this ban very strictly.

The severity of this situation came to light when many Jio users started complaining that they weren’t being able to access porn websites. That’s when it was revealed that the government had directed internet service providers to block 827 websites based on an order by the Uttarakhand High Court on 28th September. The directive was to block or curb access to the mentioned pornographic sites “to avoid an adverse influence on the impressionable minds of children”.

Desi Twitter lost its collective mind and complained about this latest porn ban through some hilarious memes.

It’s clear that the government has learnt that if they don’t give people any time to react, they’ll be able to carry out their work without any obstruction. But as Indians are legally allowed to watch porn in private, do you think it’s okay to outright ban it? Or are you of the opinion that it’s the correct decision for the sake of the greater good?
