Jackie Shroff’s ‘Kaanda Bhindi Sookha’ Recipe Goes Viral, Here’s How To Cook It

When he is not imparting worldly wisdom or fighting for environmental conservation, Jackie Shroff is busy giving people simple yet lip-smacking food recipes. In certain interviews, he shared his recipe for egg-white omelette with tadka and baigan ka bharta. They were a hit and urged several people to enter their kitchens and try them out,

And now, people are trying another recipe recommended by Jackie Shroff in his style. The dish is called ‘Kaanda Bhindi Sookha’ – which basically is a dish made with onions, lady’s fingers, a bit of garlic and salt. Yes, it is that simple.

In his classic Bambaiyaa accent, Jackie Shroff asks people to cut the bhindi into small sizes. Then he asks to slice an onion into similar-size cubes, also called ‘chaukandi’. One then has to pour a bit of oil into a hot pan and add the onion and lady’s finger cubes. He specifically instructs people not to stir it and keep it as it is.

If one wants to add garlic, they can add a single clove. And also, salt to taste. That’s all.
