However, cricketer Yusuf Pathan, who was released by SRH didn’t get signed by any of the teams, reports NDTV. Post the auction, younger brother Irfan shared an encouraging note for his Lala that melted hearts online. Take a look.
Small hiccups doesn’t define your career, you have been outstanding thru out. A real match winner. Love you always Lala @iamyusufpathan pic.twitter.com/h3tw3AjoGS
— Irfan Pathan (@IrfanPathan) December 19, 2019
This has been attributed to his performance in the previous two installations of the game. His 15-match average in 2018 was 28.88 where he took one wicket. In 2019, he played 10 matches with an average score of 13.33 and no wickets.
People applauded Irfan for his brotherly love and also pointed out that the IPL cannot define anybody’s sporting career.
@IrfanPathan is the younger brother but still he shows so much of maturity….. salute to you @IrfanPathan 🇮🇳
