India Lost 1 MiG 21 And IAF Pilot Missing, Pakistan Claims He’s In Their Custody

Tensions are rising with Indo-Pak’s aerial engagement since Pak armed forces retaliated following India’s strike on Tuesday morning. Indian authorities hosted a media briefing to update the nation of the developments.

MEA spokesperson, Raveesh Kumar shared the following details in his statement this afternoon-

“One Pakistan Air Force fighter aircraft was shot down by Indian Air Force. In this engagement we have lost one MiG 21. Pilot is missing in action. Pakistan claims he is in their custody. We are ascertaining the facts,”

Pak Prime Minister, Imran Khan released this statement on the subject-

“I ask India: With the weapons you have and the weapons we have, can we really afford a miscalculation? If this escalates, it will no longer be in my control or in Modi’s. We invite you for dialogue… better sense must prevail,” Khan said in his statement, reports NDTV.
