Man Faked A Highjack Scare On Bom-Delhi Jet Airways Plane, Says He Did It For Love. Creepy AF!

Highjacking a plane is a very serious offense. Putting so many lives at risk and actually making legit threats it becomes very scary for passengers and attendants alike. While many are serious threats where terrorists cause serious harm, others are a hoax and turn out to be fake claims.

According to an NDTV report, a hijack scare was triggered on the flight from Mumbai to Delhi. The plane had to be diverted to Ahmedabad because of this letter being found in the washroom.

The note was written in Urdu and English claiming that there were 12 terrorists on board.

Probing into the matter lead to the understanding that the note was a hoax and there wasn’t a real threat. According to a Times of India report, Birju Kishore Salla, a frequent flyer with the airlines was caught and questioned as the perpetrator for the incident.

Birju Kishore Salla was also known earlier to carry a cockroach into the flight. He wanted to place it in his food and create a fuss.

The reason for Birju doing all this will sound exactly like the plot of a cringy Bollywood film. It was all for a Jet Airways employee whom he was head over heels in love with. Talking about this, a senior investigator said,

“Last July, he had picked up a major fight on a Jet Airways flight by claiming that his meal had cockroaches. He somehow wanted to harm Jet so that the lady comes to him for a job. Salla may be of unsound mind.”

Birju runs a property business in Thane and wanted Jet Airways to destabilise so that the employee would quit her job and work for him instead.

He will probably be put on the no-fly list. He is currently in the custody of Ahmedabad CID. I’ve heard of people harming themselves for unrequited love and words don’t cut how bad it is. But putting so many innocent lives in danger for ‘love’ just makes me think what kind of love it is.
